IOS 7: Still No Access to Widescreen-Photos

Apple takes advantage of iOS 7 still not the big screen on the iPhone 5, when taking photos.

The screen on the iPhone 5 has a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels spread over 4 inches, which is a new format, as compared to the previous models. But oddly enough, takes advantage of the phone in connection with the camera, not the entire screen.

This means that iPhones so can’t take photos in widescreen format, and users must put up with black borders on each side of the image.

With iOS 7 Apple has contributed a lot of new camera features, but the format is not changed. There is still not making full use of the screen width.

Competing products, such as Samsung Galaxy S4, all exploitation of the entire screen, in connection with the use of the camera.

It remains on the Apple change on this in the next version of iOS 7, released in the autumn.
