San Marino. In June elections were held for Parliament.
Both parties in the government coalition returned and lost
their majority. According to
CountryAAH, the Christian Democratic PDCS received 21
seats and the Social Democratic PSD received 20. The PSD,
formed by a merger of two left-wing parties in 2005,
received seven seats less than the two predecessors had in
common. In July, the PSD formed a center-left coalition
together with the election's three and four, the People's
Alliance (AP) and the United Left. The coalition had 32 of
the total 60 seats in Parliament.
