100,000 Germans were Asked to Leave the Google Street View

According to the newspaper Der Spiegel, about 100 thousand people asked the Google to put out their homes from Street View, as provides for an agreement signed last August between the Web giant and the government of Germany to enable the deployment of the service in the country.

Distrust of the European authorities on account of issues relating to invasions privacy and to collect information on networks Wi-Fi with their cars the map service, the German government determined that Street View could only be available in the country if its citizens could withdraw their homes service, comfort available in an online form.

Although Google does not comment on the figures obtained by the publication, the German government expects about 200 000 houses to be removed from Street View to the final date for deletion requests, which will be on October 15.
