I want to buy a phone and you do not know yet if you want to spend more and buy an original cell phone with less resources, or spend a little less and buy a Chinese phone, a xing-ling, apparently with more resources. This article is for you.
Today, there are so many cell phones of all kinds on the market that offer a lot of features and leaves you in doubt before buying a new one. But at the time of the dispute between the two, which one should I choose?
Some Chinese phones offer 4 inches or more for a more affordable price. Which is good for users who like to watch movies, play games or view entire pages on their phones. However, these screens usually come with a worse resolution than the cell phones of large companies. Here is your choice for quality or size.
Mobile device customization
Chinese phones can be much more personalized than an original device, whether with hoods, changes in the system of the device and many more. However, this customization has already come to many original cell phones, with covers that can be modified, changed and even protective covers with several different styles. The originals, however, have a more expensive price tag.
Most Chinese phones offer a larger internal memory and the possibility of increasing this memory through a microSD slot. Already original cell phones have models that neither the option of the microSD even offer. Again, the originals offer more memory and slots at a more expensive price.
Cellular processing capacity and speed
On the most basic devices, Chinese xing-ling devices almost always have processors with higher processing capacity than the original ones. In the intermediate models, the originals are almost always to a great advantage.
Accept two or more SIM cards
Most xing-lings incorporate two SIM cards in any device, from the most basic to the most advanced. Already the large operators only put this feature in a few devices on time.
Here is one aspect that the originals gain by far. You will hardly find a “xing-ling” that can balance a quality camera with a good image, and the ability to efficiently record and play sounds. However, there are few original cell phones that receive a signal from TV broadcasts, which is very common in xing-lings.
“Xing-lings” phones are much cheaper than the originals, regardless of where you buy them. Here is the big win that still attracts a lot of buyers to these handsets, which have so many features for so little money.
Durability, reliability, quality, guarantee and social responsibility
However, it is in this triad of factors that the “xing-lings” lose ugly. They offer many more features, for a much less price. But usually with much lower quality. There is no type of quality management in these handsets, which can last for years or just days. You also will not have any guarantee on your safety, with batteries that can explode at any time or screens that may stop working suddenly.
Another reality is that many of these cell phones enter Brazil via contraband, that is, evading taxes that could be used in improvements for our country. Add this to the fact that almost none of them has collateral and you have a watch bomb in your hands. And the factories of these cell phones in China are usually the ones that pollute the most, care less about people’s health, and contribute more to technological pollution.
Is it worth buying a cell phone “xing-ling”?
Definitely not. As attractive as they may seem, it’s worth you to save a bit and get a cell phone from a recognized and established brand in the market, for as long as it’s better. Quality, good technology and a light conscience have a price that is worth paying.
